Books to Read

"La Biblia" - The Bible is # 1 in the language of your choice.
Make the Word of God your standard by which all else is written. His words will stand forever to guide us to our celestial home and to live for Him until this life on earth is over.

The Final Quest by Rick Joyner

In this book, Pastor Rick Joyner shares God's word, as well as a panoramic vision in great detail about the greatest and last battle between light and darkness. It has been published in 49 languages, and calls us to go if we are willing, to the great adventure if we are truly God's children utilizing the weapons:
  • the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
  • the helmet of salvation
  • and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
This is one book that when picked up, you won't be able to put down until finished, only to restart it, take notes and share it with Sunday School students or Bible students.

It will inspire you to study God's word more, to pray more, to do all you can before the coming of the Lord.

I learned much about my own experiences on impressions, visions, dreams, words of knowledge and much more. I can agree that when God gives you any communication directly from His throne, I know that I know that I know, no one can take it away from me, because He is Supreme, Omniscient God.

Read it. No regrets, I can assure you, for God's word is guaranteed!

Nevertheless by Mark Rutland

This is one of those little books you can fit into one hand with ease; lay back on your recliner, to read and be amazed you are done with it in less than a day. The reason is it causes you to be more in love with the God who gave His all for even you and me. You can barely get enough and hope there are more pages of His thoughts.

This is when you're encouraged to search His word for more!

God Has a WONDERFUL Plan for Your Life - The Myth of the Modern Message by Ray Comfort

It's an exciting time to live with our modern communication technology reaching millions at a time. Today's world is bombarding the message that folks want to hear, thereby eroding the Gospel values of a "softer, gentle vision of God." Unfortunately it may mean that nearly ½ of all church members may not even be Christians. Denominations of all kinds may claim the growing numbers of attendees, but if you take a closer look, many are most probably false conversions.

Nothing new, for it is a topic Jesus spoke about in Mark 4:3-8 in the form of a parable. Take for instance his beloved disciple that handled the money for their group: Judas Iscariot, being an example of one such character. He heard the words spoken by the Lord, saw miracles of healing and the rising of the dead with his own eyes, but was a spectator, not a follower of the One who came to save him.

Read this one, and be like the prophet Ezekiel the "watchman on the wall" telling our society, family, friends and neighbors of the reality of heaven and hell; do something about being a real disciple of the word of the Living God.

Free in CHRIST by Pablo Bottari

Within you will find a complete handbook on the Ministry of Deliverance. People the world over are hungry for God. Many will run to the altar for help, but might simply be asked: Do you accept Jesus as the Lord of your life? and with an affirming head shake they're told "welcome into the family of God" without verifying what their needs really are.

Some arrive with a demonic oppression, hidden hate, the bondage of sexual perversion, demonic vows, a ritualistic background, and much more.

The process of casting out demons is called deliverance and it is what occurs in the life of an individual and within a church when individuals come to Christ with complete surrender.

As His church, we must be equipped to help people get delivered from the enemy's grasp, because the spiritual has an effect on our physical well-being. The church receives healing when deliverance occurs.

Many congregations abstain from this ministry, forgetting the words of Jesus: "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32

"Is this not the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice?" Isaiah 58:6

"Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas." Acts 19:18-19

If you are willing to take the authority in the name of Jesus and bind spirits, and to help people take control over their bodies and minds, and lead them to a better life, this book is for you.

Parents of Children

Children are a gift from God. If we see it any other way, we will miss out on the joyful blessings that accompany each and every human being born to us earthlings.

"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5

God's promises are true and forever. We cannot take any life lightly as if it were not our responsibility. The outward appearance of our children is not a measurement as to their ability to perceive, learn, or love. It is up to us to know them, guide them, teach goodness and to love them.

We must help them to be achievers, leading them to become independent and pursue their passions. Yes, it's 'easier said than done' but it does not minimize our responsibility.

Let's do our parenting knowing God's promise that they shall be "as arrows in the hand of a might man" and that they will "speak with the enemies in the gate."

This is a clock I have in my kitchen, representing our children in the order of their births and who are now adults. The first three born from Carmen their mom. The fourth is my oldest daughter, my first baby girl that I had at age 16. The fifth and sixth are from my first marriage. The seventh is a son born from his mother Iveth. The eighth is our son together.

Personally, I love and pray for each one for the Lord has allowed me to minister unto each of their lives and their children, our grandchildren. It is a great privilege to show them His love, that they too may desire the way of the Lord. We too are parents of these souls, to bless each one.

Journey to Australia

Journey to Australia, Day 1

The start of 2014 took me to a faraway land around the world and down under. Due to the time change and the direction of the A380 flight around the globe, it took me 4 calendar days to arrive at my destination of Melbourne, Australia.

Once I acquired my luggage and stepped outside a windowless door, to my surprise I was greeted with big smiles from my son-in-law David, my daughter Esly and my baby grand-daughter Kiara at 2:30 am.

We picked the airport garage to take our first photo. Here I am with Kiara at the tender age of 7 months, when I met her for the very first time; in complete awe at her lovely features and pretty blue eyes. I could see her dad and mom all at once, blended together by the hand of our Lord.

Kiara should have been asleep, but her mom says she would not have missed meeting her grandmother for anything else. My heart rejoiced at this moment after 40 actual hours of flight time that led me here.

Next stop: their house!
